Memorable Moments from my first Chinese New Year in Shanghai
- Local couples buying 4 entrees for themselves, 2 of which went into the trash
- Cicie auditioning for the USA women's hockey team in the Shanghai Subway (I'm so proud!!!!
I'm going to buy her some hockey skates!) - Some of the worst waitressing service I've ever experienced
- Discovering my dream bathroom in our hotel room
- Seeing Shanghai turn into Baghdad at midnight on New Year's Eve
- Traveling at 431km/h to Pudong Airport
- Lighting $30 into a brilliant explosion 200 ft in the air
- Eating the real "West Lake Soup"
- Driving around Shanghai in the family Mazda 6 instead of taking public transit
- Pobaby cartoons on TV & subway (http://eng.pobaby.net/)
- Walking amongst the Dragon Well tea bushes
- Seeing two on-duty butchers using a stylus on their PDA phones
- Finally finding the Qi Pao (cheongsam) fabric I want to see Cicie wear for our wedding reception seen on our last trip to Shanghai.
- Finding Cicie's classmate that she hadn't seen for 10 years still in the same house
- China needs Fastrak... desperately...
- Meeting Cicie's entire mom's side of the family

Congradulations to my ol' roommate who's tying the knot later this year. Okay seriously enough with Vegas for the bachelor party. Now for sure, I am not going there for mine. I think some southern hospitality would suit me just fine.

Don't ever use FTD for V-day flowers
You'd think FTD would have their act together for this big day. It's not like one week advance ordering wasn't enough. Nor the 90 minutes I spent on hold to complain that the order wasn't received when they promised. Never again....
At least Cicie was understanding.
